Services within this sector consist of keyholding and alarm response, mobile patrols and manned guarding and our management team has a wealth of experience and understanding the importance of safety and well-being of students, staff, and visitors within.

We are aware of the complexities in managing security requirements for educational institutions both in terms of the fundamental duties such as locking and unlocking and the multifaceted operations where permanent security teams are deployed to protect the facility.

We understand how important Safeguarding is and this forms a key part of our service delivery within education. We have developed effective procedures to ensure everyone is safe and protected with the support of our senior management team who can demonstrate hands on experience of managing the educational sector.

Security for the educational sector consists of many elements that contribute to the overall protection of the premises and our security teams undertake a variety of tasks to ensure the most effective levels of detection and prevention are in place. Our personnel will undertake:

• Monitoring and controlling entry and exit points to the premises, verifying the identity of employees, visitors, and contractors through physical checks, ID badges, or visitor logs
• Regular patrols of the building and its grounds to detect and deter criminal activity such as theft, vandalism, or unauthorised access
• Checks for safety hazards or maintenance issues, such fire, floods and building repairs
• Monitoring of CCTV cameras and/or alarm systems, responding to any activations or suspicious activity detected
• The assessment of situations and decide whether to take action or alert local authorities if necessary
• Emergency response, such as a fire, medical incident, or security breaches, manage evacuations, and coordinate with emergency services
• First aid or assist in managing critical situations until professional responders arrive

In addition to standard security duties, our teams often act as the first point of contact for employees, clients, or visitors, providing directions, answering questions, and general customer care.
