Case Study: The Royal Star & Garter

The Royal Star & Garter Homes provide award-winning care for veterans and their partners who live with disability or dementia, in state-of-the-art homes. Their new High Wycombe home was developed in 2019 and prior to this the site was under the control of a construction company with whom we worked for due to the site being less than half a mile away from our Head Office & 24-hour Control Centre.

They were keen to protect the premises, equipment and assets during various development phases and we met with their Operations Director to assess the risks and vulnerabilities in order to provide the most effective solution. This consisted of Security Officers, Dog Handlers and Mobile Patrol Response which provided round the clock protection with the ability to adapt as the project neared completion and the risks changed.

Since completion of the home, we have supported The Royal Star & Garter with various security services that have been required from time to time, which includes Mobile Patrols and Dog Handlers. To one of their other locations, we have supported this with perimeter protection, regular inspections, and ad-hoc security services.

Since the inception of our relationship with The Royal Star & Garter we have developed a trusted partnership and regularly discuss security strategies that benefit their knowledge of intelligence with regards to criminal activity in the local community.
